The Truth About the Holy Spirit

Ok, are you ready for this? Let’s go to the book of Romans and writings of the apostles. Romans 8:1; “There is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” The Holy Spirit makes you walk after the Spirit. Yours is to just trust Him, relax and rest in Christ. If the Holy Spirit shows sin, then He is not glorifying Jesus; He is not leading you into all Truth, and He is not giving you life at all. According to Romans 8:2, He is the Spirit of life. He is in you to give you life in Christ. He is in you to give life even to your mortal body, v11. So if there is anything wrong in your physical body, talk to the Holy Spirit about it and He will give your body life. He doesn’t want you to focus and dwell on sin and weaknesses.

Never accept when someone says you are not in the spirit. Because according to the Bible, Romans 8:9, you are in the Spirit. The Spirit of God dwells in you because that’s what Jesus says in John 15:17, “…you know Him for He dwells in you…” Verse 13 of Romans 8 tells us we have power over the flesh. We can overcome the deeds, habits, and behaviours of the flesh by the Holy Spirit. You need to know that the Holy Spirit doesn’t operate with or in self-righteousness.

You must keep your eyes on the righteousness of Jesus, which we have by faith in Christ. He is not the Spirit of fear or timidity but of power, love, life, sound mind, and adoption. And by Him we cry and shout out to God, “Abba” Father! As He dwells in you, He bears witness with you and your spirit that you are the child of God (Romans 8:15). When we have the consciousness of righteousness by faith, the Holy Spirit bears witness with that consciousness. When you are conscious of the Love of God to us in Christ, He bears witness to that consciousness. When you believe, receive, and are conscious of this truth that nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, the Holy Spirit bears witness to the truth (Romans 8:31-39)

As we have established in the above subtopics, the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. In addition to that, Jesus showed us that the Holy Spirit will teach us, speaking to us what He hears from the Son and the Father, John 16:13. We know that the Holy Spirit teaches, because in 1 Corinthians 2:13, the Holy Spirit Himself, through Paul, echoed the sentiments of Jesus. Well, what does the Holy Spirit? He teaches the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10-11), He teaches about Jesus (John 16:15), He testifies of Jesus (John 15:26), He shows us things to come (John 16:13), He teaches us the Truth, the whole truth, or all the truth (John 16:13), and He glorifies Jesus (John 16:14).

We are sealed with the Holy Spirit into the word of truth, the Gospel of our salvation (Ephesians 1:13). We have access to the Father by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:18), and He reveals the mystery of the Gospel of the Grace of God (Ephesians 3:1-5). As we pay attention to the Holy Spirit, He leads and guides us to the whole Truth, making Jesus known to us. Remember what Jesus says in the Word? I am the Way, and the TRUTH, and the Life. Therefore, let the Holy Spirit show you Jesus by guiding you into all TRUTH!
